Policy Areas

The Policy Group divided itself into eight core Working Groups drawing diverse and experienced members from across the spectrum of those at the forefront of the quality of life debate.

These Working Groups set their own remits and agendas but took guidance from collaborative documents on: climate change; demographic change; cultural change; and economic change.

The group, as a whole, considered relevant implications of tax; incentives; government standards and targets; regulation, including carbon quotas; financial levers; the impact of climate change on the environment; as well as more abstract implications of environmental policy such as beauty of the locality, diversity, opportunity and security.

Each working group has its own section of our site. Use the links at the top of this page to find out more about your specific area.
